Re: Typical hand span.

Owen. Extraordinary. My wife asks whether that span is with one, or both, hands. :D She can just about reach that with two....her one hand span is C to B (same octave!) Just one ;) Mind you, I haven't sat down at a keyboard for months, so my hands might have shrunk. Made playing Rachmaninov...

Sorry I haven't been around for so long, it's all been a bit hectic around this end. How are things?

Re: Grave design flaw in the Lawton.

Lewis, while I was puzzling over it Alan fixed it by doing the thing that I thought I had done when I first created it and thus didn't think to try again. Lesson learned, computers forget things :p

Re: Grave design flaw in the Lawton.

Lewis PM'd me to say that he couldn't post here, I think this is fixed. I'm not sure what I did, but it appears that people can post here now.

(edit - Owen, sent you a PM, Alan)

Re: Who's a lucky chap?

I have no idea what that would be worth, I do know that if it was me I wouldn't dream of selling it either. What a wonderful horn, and the shirt buttons are a good tip, I'll bear them in mind :p

Re: As you mention harps, I wll respond.

You are of course quite right Lewis. Most of mine are for fun, I concentrate the majority of my music playing time on Piano and Clarinet, with Melodeon for Folk.
