I'm a hobbyist who returned to the world of saxophones five years ago after a 27 year break. I own a Conn straightneck C Melody and C soprano sax and a Leblanc Concerto C clarinet. I don't spend much time on these instruments, but find them fascinating.

Man that guy can play. I have a Conn C soprano that Sarge at WorldwideSaxes fixed up for me. But I have to work way to hard to keep it in tune. With my Yanagisawa 992, I still have to work with the notes above G2 but, it isn't nearly as difficult to stay in tune. Still it looks rather nice. http&...

I cheated and bought Suzy a nice new Leblanc Concerto C clarinet last year. Nice sounding, great key works, and fabulous intonation even for a couple of hobbyists like us. :ugeek:
