I can imagine my reaction at the age of 17 if faced with the choice of Motorcycles and girls, versus dressing in silly clothes and cavorting, using bells and sticks, in the company of old men with beards and spectacles...(although now I sport both of those.)
Surely the concern should have been "For how much longer will Morris Dancing be legal?". It must contravene most Human Rights and H&S issues; akin to Witch Burning perhaps.
